Per la piccola Sara

Cucire questa copertina è stata per me davvero una gioia...che novità direte voi! :) Quando ho visto il pannello con questa scritta "adorable" e il passeggino così vintage, ma anche così fresco e sbarazzino ho pensato subito alla sua mamma e allo stile-molto newyorkese che ha.:)

Ho abbandonato le stoffe country baby per un attimo e mi son data ai toni coloratissimi e accesi.L'ho quiltata con i punti che più mi ispiravano e le parti centrali le ho fatte tutte a mano.

Poi una-altrettanto adorabile-bambina mi ha dato un consiglio;visto che non sa ancora parlare ha semplicemente accostato dei bottoni rosa alla stoffa e mi ha guardato come dire:che ne dici ? Come non sciogliersi e non seguire il suo consiglio? ;)

Hi! Today i show you a quilt i've done for a baby, wich is born few weeks ago.

This time i left all the country baby fashion colors, you know, i mean all the pinky, romantic stuff and get some new york style.I don't now why but this quilt remind me manhattan...!!!!

You have t know, the mother of this new adorable girl is a new york..fan, so i hope she enjoy it as me.

Here are the picures, i have a little -adorable too-assistant, who is nont speaking at the moment,but suggested me to put the pink bottom on the corner, just showing me how they are cuteon them.

Ultimi scampoli d'estate...

Mi affretto a fare questo post, in attesa del maltempo che è in arrivo proprio dientro l'angolo e che -dicono-porterà atmosfere decisamente più autunnali.

In questi giorni mi son data alla pazza gioia con il mio hobby e ho cucito anche per tutto quel tempo in cui quest'estate ho oziato in panciolle! Complice il mercatino di Palmanova (venitemi a trovare il 15 settembre! info a lato) e tantissime ispirazioni.

Tra queste, come già vi accennavo l'ultima volta, mi sono cimentata con le borsette, ne ho fatte quattro, due sono decisamente marine!I sono divertita un sacco a recuperare vecchie stoffe di tapezzeria (la maggioranza Ikea) e scampoli di tessuti marini.

Il cartamodello l'ho disegnato io, non sarà precisissimo, ma abbiate pazienza, era proprio la prima volta ;)

I'm writing waiting for the autumn weather coming in my city in the evening, bringing some cold and windy.

I suppose we have finished this year with the summer season! 

Bot fearless i post the pictures of the new bags i've done these days.During this last week i sewed a lot, for all the relaxing time i had in this summer.I did some new baby quilt and placemats, i'm very happy of them, but so tired....;)

These bags have a summer style, i hope you don't find them out of season, they are ready to be catched in my shop on line, on blomming. Let's come in and take a look at it !(if you want...) ;)

Tovagliette molto country..

Scusate la mia prolungata assenza! Durante la stagione estiva anche se non sono sempre in ferie fisicamente sono proprio in ferie "mentali"il più possibile.Cucio poco, a parte certi sprazzi di "febbre da creazione" solitamente la sera o la notte che hanno portato come risultato delle nuove borsette.In due giorni ne ho cucite tre, ma sono così pigra che non ho nessuna voglia di mettermi a pensare a come fotografarle e a renderle decenti in foto (almeno in foto....auhauha!). Bisognerà aspettare :) 

Le giornate ora tornano ad esser belle, ma percepisco una luce diversa, un bel frescolino la mattina quando ci alziamo all'alba per fare colazione e la sera quando ci mettiamo la copertina per dormire al calduccio.

E' stato con grande piacere quindi che mi sono rituffata in atmosfere tipicamente country grazie a queste tovagliette americane raffiguranti un gallo e una gallina e ....tanto patchwork attorno! 

Le ho cucite proprio per una casa di campagna, lontana dal mare e non mi veniva proprio spontaneo nessuna creazione a tema marino..la padrona di casa ha apprezzato e per quel che mi riguarda mi sa che, come sempre, sono in anticipo coi tempi e sento un po' voglia di autunno.....;)

I'm often away from my blog, but how you already now even if i'm not phisically away i'm on holiday with my mind!!! I sew not so often and when i get the furious will to do something i do it during the evening or the night.Two nights ago i sewed three bags, but i'm so lazy i can picture them now.I 've to think about a lot of matter, the position, the light....yes i'm very lazy.So you will wait for seeing them, can you resist? ;)

Anyway the day are shorter, the air more fresh and i feel autumn is coming(i'm always in advance!) and so it was lovely to me prepare these two placemats, with a rooster and a hen and ...a lot of colored  patchwork! 

These are for a country house and the owner was happy about my choise.no sea, no fishes, no lighthouse, it is a country home, isn'it???
