Hand pots and Seastyle

Come promesso ecco le fantomatiche presine marinaresche!

La stoffa è sempre quella con cui ho fatto le tovagliette americane-che vedete qui- e gli asciugamani ospite -che trovate qui-solo che ho pensato di ritagliare il quadrato, ovvero la figura e valorizzarla rendendola semplicemente.... una presina!!!

Pratiche, funzionali, non finirò mai di elogiare la funzione di una presina, che abbellisce ma è anche incredibilmente utile.Parlo io che son come il calzolaio che va in giro con le scarpe rotte, ho delle presine da far paura e ogni volta che voglio buttarle e ne faccio di nuove mio marito mi guarda impietosito dicendomi:ma son tanto belline queste, non è peccato? E così, regalo, porto ai mercatini, vendo, ma in verità io resto sempre senza presine! ;) Ora ne ho in mente certe tutte zuccherine, sui toni del rosa e bianco, magari con dei muffin, chissà che non riesca a tenermele!Starebbero bene nella mia cucina, invece queste, per una cucina sui toni dell'azzurro, o del grigio o del bianco sono l'ideale.

Guardandole viene voglie di prender davvero il largo!nel senso che vien vogli di cielo azzurro, di vele bianche e di un bel mare blu, cosa a cui anelo più di ogni altra in questi giorni sempre molto pieni di impegni e di cose da portar a termine!

As i promised you here are the famous hand pads seastyle!
The fabric is the same of the american placemats you can see here, and the same of the towels i did last years
(you can find them here).
I' ve just cut the square where the picture is and...they become some hand pads!!! So easy isn't it? ;)
I love them, practical,  beauty but useful at the same time.
In italy we say that often who repairs the shoes has broken shoes and in my case, yes, i have not hot pad in my kitchen! 
Can you believe it? Each time i make one, or two, my housband looked at me and told me:mmmm, is so beautiful, it's a pitty....and then i gift them or i sell them, but i do not keep them at all!
Now i plan some of them, i imagine them  very sweety, pinky, with some muffin ( hungry??;)...)
These i show you today are perfect for a kitchen decorated in blu color, with some naval stuff or pictures, perfect for a sea house ...can you imagine it?A big, white, wood made house by the sea...mmmm sure!!! yes i can !!! and you know.... imagine is for free!!!
