Vecchi aerei e vecchi bauli

Le giornate di pioggia, si sa, possono diventare noiose e decisamente poco divertenti, ma nonostante la dura prova a cui siamo meteorologicamente sottoposti in questi giorni un lato positivo lo si trova sempre! 

Ultimamente avevo così voglia di mare che ho postato e cucito solo pesci ( e non li avete visti tutti!) 

Ma devo dire che queste giornate uggiose mi hanno riportato a tanti anni fa. Sarà perché chi è romantico ha per forza un lato bellicoso (dovrà compensarsi giusto? ;)) Sarà perché i miei nonni l'hanno fatta entrambi, perché sono cresciuta a pane, burro e campagna d'Albania...;) fatto sta che sono incredibilmente attratta dagli aerei di guerra! Io che odio volare..e che di certo non amo la guerra, devo ammettere che questi oggetti mi affascinano.

Qualche domenica fa in mercatino dell'usato ho trovato, tra le cianfrusaglie, un bellissimo vecchio modellino arrugginito e un vecchio baule, che credo sia proprio del dopoguerra visto la scritta che riporta! Sembravano decisamente fatti uno per l'altra e questa mattina, nell'emporio, ho trovato una stoffa che ci calzava a pennello, non trovate? E così, voilà, li ho messi uno accanto all'altro. 

Che bella sensazione che ho avuto, spero che anche a voi questo accostamento piaccia.Le foto non sono certo molto luminose, la stanza è piccolina ed è quella dove suono il pianoforte.L'abbiamo appena rimodernata, nessun gusto country ma solo dolci melodie anni '20 e...cuscini abbinati! Il piano non chiedeva che questo! :)Prometto che presto prestissimo vi farò vedere tutti i dettagli!

You know, rainy days are not so funny, we hope that the sun will get out real soon, but i think positive  anyway!

I'm so pretty, so country, so romantic, but i have my warrior inside i suppose because i'm really very fascinated of war planes.

I hate flyng but i grown up with two granfather who lived the war and told me about it almost every day.

Not so sad histories at the end...and the rain reminds me all of this.

I don't know why, but look at them! I 've found the little plane in a market, some days ago, and near of it was this old chest.

The writing is about remove mines in the war fields, i thought:

they are really made for each other!!!

This morning i bought a fabric so pefect, with the planes, i love it, i hope you enjoy it too.

Next times i will show you the room in where i put them, is the room where i play the piano. An old one, and he ( the piano) suggested me old melodies, from 20's...not so country, but so beautiful too.:)
